Programs

We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

Job

Master's Degree in Human Services, or related field equivalent.  Current registration with the BBS as LMFT or LCSW, or MFTI or ACSW

Minimum two (2) years experience in a mental health setting. Community mental health experience desirable.   Experience with the severely, mentally ill desirable.  Experience working with juvenile offenders and or forensic settings.  Experience treating substance abuse and dual diagnosis.

Bachelor's degree program with a major in a mental health related discipline.

Internship

Internships (unpaid) are available for Masters, Ph.D., Psy.D. or Post-Docs. The new students are accepted into the program in January, May and August. Applications are accepted until positions are filled but apply at least one month before expected start date. We are currently accepting applications for May and August. 2 years minimum experience in mental health setting with mentally disabled population with homeless individuals, conducting individual and group counseling and brief intake assessment. LACDMH experience preferible.
