“Feel the comfort of leaving work at work and then being able to go home. The Center itself is just what we represent and what we do — it’s just amazing. You have to love it.

Our workplace culture and team environment is very unique. I really love the team approach, and coming together and working as a team versus independent work; however, we have to have both to make it work.”

- Leslie Abrahams, MH Counselor II
“There’s no typical day at San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, because you’re always encouraged to think and develop your skills and follow your heart! And I think that’s the best place to grow for your heart and for your mind!”
- Dr. Roman Shain, Professor (Former SFVCMHC QA Program Manager)
“I love the company culture. This is the healthiest work environment that I’ve ever worked in. This is my 9th year in the hospitality industry, and this career change to come here was a nice move. All of my coworkers are amazing. I feel support and companionship coming from them.

My supervisor is amazing. I really love the way that she approaches us calmly, rather than the corporate pressure that I had in the past.”

- Fernanda Hay Artigas, MH Clinician I
