San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is excited to announce its second annual ACEs Aware Day, a series of events designed to raise awareness about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the importance of addressing toxic stress through healing, connection, and community.
This year’s ACEs Aware Day events will take place at 14545 Sherman Circle, Van Nuys on the following dates:
- May 13th and May 20th, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m., for the Children and Transition Age Youth Programs
- May 22nd, a special Awareness Day for our Adult Programs
Participants will embark on a fun and educational journey through 7 Stress Busters—evidence-based strategies proven to reduce the effects of toxic stress, boost brain health, support immune function, and promote emotional well-being. These strategies provide powerful tools to help manage daily stress and build long-term resilience.

- Live music and drumming circles
- Free food and refreshments
- Prizes and giveaways
- Special appearances by therapy mini horses!
