The Center for Family Living (CFL) houses two programs: Field Capable Clinical Services (FCCS) and Outpatient care. Both programs serve adults aged 26 and up who are diagnosed with a chronic, persistent mental illness.
- Psychiatric medication services
- Crisis intervention
- Group and individual therapy
- Case management
Referrals for service are received from psychiatric hospitals, physical medical providers, and other mental health providers, among others.
CFL FCCS provides field-based services as appropriate. This includes in-home mental health assessment and therapy/counseling intervention. Linkage with adjunct resources in the community is also provided, including transportation and advocacy. Consumers are seen as frequently as needed until transitioned into a lower level of care.
The CFL Outpatient program provides the described services in the clinic setting. Consumers have achieved overall stabilization of their mental health condition and require fewer services; on average, they access treatment once monthly.
Funding is provided by MediCal and MediCal/Medicare insurance.
